Katie Paton
Legal practitioner director
Katie has been practising since 2005 and has a strong reputation as a trusted advisor, working closely with her clients to provide timely, relevant and cost-effective advice and solutions. Katie has experience in high volume and low quantum debt recovery litigation, insolvency and commercial disputes. She advises secured and unsecured creditors, directors, shareholders and external administrators and trustees in all matters of corporate distress, asset recovery and protection. Katie's expertise has been enhanced by having worked for the government bankruptcy agency, inhouse at a big 4 bank (on secondment), private practice firms of various sizes and having completed the insolvency education program (as it was then known) run through the Australian Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association (ARITA).
